The Inaugural Auckland Underground Film Festival

The Auckland Underground Film Festival is set to be an international short film and video art festival showcasing New Zealand's creative talent alongside innovative video artists from around the globe.  The AUFF aims to support exciting and challenging works from filmmakers and video artists that fall outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and gallery installations.

AUFF will be held on September 30th at the Academy Cinemas. For more information head to their FB page or website.

The AUFF is supported by Waitemata Local Board and The Wallace Foundation - so NZ artists are able to submit their work for free.

after silence.

There was a sudden quiet for almost a year.
With the dawning of the year of the Monkey we're aiming to provide more content, more regularity, and more reach.

In 2015, we explored the term 'community'.
We ventured North to engage with charitable trusts, including Bald Angels in Kerikeri and New Zealand's Vipassana Meditation Centre (more on this soon);  we reflectively considered ANZAC 100, community crowdfunding with Te Haa o Te Ao, swelling marches, and expanding New Zealand's refugee quota.

This year, we'll be talking to a number of individuals who are working towards better environmental protection here in New Zealand.
